Over the last few months, I’ve hosted a few group mentoring session. They are designed to help the beginner with a DSLR learn to use their camera. We go over things like how to shoot in manual mode, understanding lighting and getting the proper exposure, framing a picture, working with models… etc. I keep my classes small (between 3-4 people). And this has worked out really well for me. I love how intimate my workshops are. It gives me a chance to really get to know each of my students and make sure there is plenty of time for everyone’s questions.
This past week, I hosted a mentoring session in Seattle. The evening was perfect!! The weather was gorgeous, the location was beautiful, my models were fabulous, and I was extremely blessed to be able to work with some awesome ladies! There was lots of learning, shooting & laughing going on. We really did have a wonderful time!!
Here are the ladies and the adorable couple they practicing there skills on! 🙂
Okay, so now onto the fun part! Here’s a preview of some of the pictures I took throughout the mentoring session.
Travis & Stephane have been married for a year now, and they never got any engagement photos done, so hopefully these will make up for it!! Better late than never, right?? And how CUTE are they together??? I can’t thank them enough for their patience throughout, and their willingness to indulge my random & sporadic ideas! They were seriously amazing!!
